Two weekends ago, Kyie and I decided to get away for the weekend. We were looking for somewhere cozy but not too quiet. After some time on hot wire we found a great deal for the Hyatt Regency in Piscataway NJ and off we went. Oh boy, was it ever the adventure. On our way we decided to stop by the city and hit up Nolita House, one of our favorite places. Well, while Kyie went to the bank I accidentally locked the car keys INSIDE the car! aghhhhhhh! So a few Google searches later, we finally found some people willing to come help us unlock it. They showed up in regular clothes and a Nissan or something lol. You shoulda seen the faces of the people walking by who thought we were trying to steal a car every time the alarm went off. In the end we we were so annoyed we skipped Nolita all together and got back on the road.
We finally drive in to Jersey and bam!! We hit a rock or should I say a meteor with our tiny little Lexus. The car ended up making weird noises all the way to the hotel but at least we made it to our destination. Hubby and I were sure our weekend was doomed and that we might not make it back home lol.
The hotel was great, we were really happy with our room when we finally checked in after our drive from hell. The next day we got the car repaired for about $40 phewww! Other than that the rest of our weekend was great, we walked around, caught a comedy show, relaxed and went home happy with not further scary adventures.

Yes there was a cemetery across the street lol which we only realized in the morning haha. I actually believe cemeteries can be quite beautiful, they put life into perspective when its not one of those times when they're scary as sh*t!
